Ming Kee Live Seafood – Fresh and Good Seafood
June's makansutra dinner brought at us Ming Kee Live Seafood near Tai Seng MRT.There are two Ming Kee restaurant along the stretch,one is opened by the father,while the other is opened by the son.这次我们去了儿子的餐馆（麦弗逊路520号）。Dinner began with Steamed Boston Lobster with Garlic which is a very simple but very tasty dish.
We thought it was sharks fin soup initially (obviously we didn't look at the menu) but were pleasantly surprised that it was Braised Crocodile Horn-Strip in Superior Stock.Very generous with the ingredients,我的汤里有厚厚的鳄鱼皮和蟹肉。vwin备用
I thought the Smoked Duck Breast was nothing fantastic,perhaps I was never a fan of smoked ham,烟熏三文鱼smoked duck or anything smoked.
Neverthelessn,huge fat Jumbo Canadian Oyster won our hearts.It was steamed with preserved black bean,very fresh and flavourful.
Ming Kee is famous for its Triple vwin德赢投注Cooked Crab Bee Hoon.vwin德赢投注Cooked with the crab in a very hot wok,the very thin bee hoon were coated with a knockout sauce.It is rich and moist,with just the right amount of crab flavour and wok hei.Just a little salty that night.
We also had Steamed giant soon hock in HK style.The fish was firm and fresh.Guinness Sauce Short Rib was also good.The caramelization is key to making flavor-packed ribs.Dessert was Home-made Coconut Jelly which was similar to Kueh jagung (Corn cake).Light,refreshing and not too sweet!!
